July 2002 – Internationalizing the Curriculum in two Multicultural Counseling Courses – Marty Jencius (PI) – Proposed to Kent State University, College of Education & Graduate Studies, Center for International and Intercultural Education for $1,200 – approved (R, & T)

-          This grant is to support the internationalization of curriculum in counseling through the use of global counselor education consultants. The grant includes collaboration globally with consultants, primary consultation with a recognized global educator in multiculturalism, and part time employment of a graduate student to collect the data.

 

December 2001- Investigating the system of counseling in The Bahamas – Marty Jencius (PI) - Proposed to Kent State University, College of Education & Graduate Studies, Center for International & Intercultural Education for $500 and an additional $500 for a graduate assistant – approved (R & D)

-          This small grant acts to support international travel efforts that are tied to scholarship. This grant also secured funds to support graduate student travel. The trip is planned for Spring of 2003.
