International Awards
CSI Fellowships and Internships are designed
to help future leaders in Counselor Education to become effective
and knowledgeable in working with issues of concern to our
profession. Both awards assist professional during the early years of their career to help move counseling forward into the future.
The Fellowships are awarded to ten individuals of exceptional
merit and competence who have exhibited leadership potential
in their Chi Sigma Iota chapter. To be eligible for a Fellowship,
an applicant must be a member of Chi Sigma Iota, accept responsibility
to participate in ALL activities related to the Fellowship,
and receive a matching award from his/her University to attend
the ACA Conference. There will be two Interns selected from
the ten Fellows.

The Kappa Sigma Upsilon Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota earned
the 2007 Outstanding Chapter Newsletter Award for Large Chapters. This
award takes into account such things as the chapter's evidence of regular publication schedule;
format and graphics; as well as professional quality and appearance. It also
takes into account the variety and appeal of well-written articles and
evidence of involvement of several chapter members in newsletter production.
The Kappa Sigma Upsilon Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota earned
the 2004 Outstanding Chapter Award for Large Chapters. This
award takes into account such things as the chapter's promotion
of scholarship, research, professionalism, leadership, and
excellence in counseling. It recognizes the ability
of the chapter to retain and contact members and the strengths
of the members, executive board, and committee chairpersons.

Counseling students with 10 or more credit hours and a minimum GPA of 3.5 are eligible to become a CSI member. Contact
